Why, hello there! My name is Whitney O'Reardon. I recently graduated from Wheaton College Massachusetts where I studied Visual Art and Art History, and minored in math. This portfolio reveals the curiosities and inspiration which propel my creative work. One of the things that I like to experiment with is the combination of digital technology with traditional means of making.
As an artist, I work in diverse media, but what ties my practice together is the tactile aspect of making, and the use of space in either real or imagined form. Through art, I can interact with, and make sense of, my surroundings. I love to position my art in public, creating environments that allow visitors to immerse themselves. In graduate school, I want to learn how apply emerging fabrication technologies to architecture and construction.
